Description
The PT Coupling Corrosion Resistant V-Dust Cap is a Type V (coupler dust cap) cam and groove fitting that closes off an open adapter when the line is disconnected, keeping contaminants out and product in. PT Coupling designs its corrosion resistant cam and groove fittings for acid applications in highly corrosive media, including hydrochloric and sulfuric acid.

- Temperature: Hastelloy C®, Carpenter 20® and Monel® hold full working pressure up to 500°F per PT Coupling; the gasket is usually the limiting factor
- Max. working pressure (PT Coupling, metal cam & groove, under 100°F): 250 PSI for 1/2″–2″, 200 PSI for 2-1/2″–3″, 150 PSI for 4″, 75 PSI for 5″–6″, 50 PSI for 8″–12″. Ratings are reduced at higher temperatures. Contact Hockman-Lewis to confirm the rating for your size and operating temperature.
